Just out of restoration in July 2019 is this incredible, low-mileage example of one of the most iconic performance cars of the 1970s.
While most every other performance car of the mid-1970s was strangled by the emissions standards of the day, the Super Duty Trans Am (and Formula) of 1973 and 1974 was able to pull high-13-second quarter miles when Corvettes, Mustang Mach 1s, Chevelle SSs and various Mopars struggled to run 15s. Those Firebird models could also dispatch a curving road better than most anything else from the states and many from Europe.
This sharp and rock solid 1974 Pontiac Trans Am SD455 looks fantastic in white with the blue Trans Am graphics (including the giant hood bird). It is all #'s matching, and boasts all orig. sheet metal. The SD 455 is teamed with a TH400 automatic trans while other features include factory air, tilt wheel, am/fm stereo, tinted glass and a 3.08 "Safe-T-Track" limited slip differential. The original and excellent black interior and ultra clean engine and trunk compartments must also be seen to be believed. Comes with original jack, lug wrench and spare tire .
The Super Duty Trans ams are a excellent Blue chip investment that are rapidly on the rise.
This rare example is an extremely nice car inside and out.
