Leon was the salesman he came out, asked if we are wanting to test drive it of course we did, next thing you know we purchased the Tacoma. Leon was very good on what he did. I would recommend anybody to Leon. If there was something we needed, he would make sure we got what we needed. The bank that I financed to, they stated Burkholder Truck Sales was easy to work with. Was very happy with the outcome.

Coming from a Used Car Dealer's Daughter by Tamara Jack from Warsaw, MO October 6, 2016 I'm the daughter of a former salesmen of cars. He taught me well how to buy cars, what to look for, but not only in the car, but the person from whom I'm buying. Our car completely broke down this past week and we had to get a car fast. And I mean within 24 hours fast. My neighbor saw an ad from Burkholder Truck Sales and saw exactly what we needed, but it was an hour and a half away. My hopes dropped, not knowing what to do, as we have very little money, and in such a bind. My neighbor sent an email that evening, and by morning, received a response from Leon. I didn't know he had received the response yet, so I called. Did we have a good talk! He was easy going, told me the little things about the car that may put someone off - so, honesty! Being as disabled as I am (mostly bedridden, but can get up and around some), we needed something reliable for my husband, inexpensive, and with a warranty. We weren't just sold on the car - a 2000 Chevy Malibu, but on the salesman. Even got a picture of us together beside the car after all papers were done. He was gracious to go through line by line the warranty we purchased with the car so that I would feel safe. It doesn't kick in for 45 days, so to make me even more satisfied and not nervous about things, said to call him if anything happens within that 45 days. Honestly, I've never felt more safe and like someone had my back. If we ever need a car again, and I'm sure we will in the years to come, I'm definitely talking to my husband about calling Leon. If he doesn't have the car on the lot, he may still be of great help to us. The car itself? Low mileage for being sixteen years old, nice features, and is a smooth ride. It was worth the cost of the car to have the feeling of stability! I've had a lot of cars in my life, including my beloved Camaro from my 20s, but I feel this is the car for us in every way. So, thank you for the time you took to help us, for the "extra mile" you went to be sure I felt safe as a disabled woman, too. On another note, had a dealership call me back on the same day, calling me "Valerie" three times. My name is nowhere near that name, and kept trying to put us in a car four times the price we could afford no matter what I kept saying. My suggestion to everyone buying a car: if you can't trust the salesperson, you may not be able to trust the vehicle. If that trust isn't there, or a good relationship established at the start, they want your money more than they want you safe. It's a job, to be sure, but as a former Caregiver, I can tell you that if the word "care" isn't used in their vocation, you're going to have bad service. Same with dealers of cars. There has to be that element of care for the person, not just lining their pocket with your cash. And that's what I found at Burkholder: customer care. Thank you.

Fixed the problems with the vehicle before selling it to me. Leon even called me to tell me there would be traffic in town for a festival and should plan accordingly. That was extremely helpful!

Service with Smile & Trust by Terry at the Lake. I have dealt with Leon for a year on vehicle purchase and installations of truck accessories (bed cover, window drip covers, mud flaps) + a tow plate & light kit on our new 2016 car to be pulled behind our Motorhome. Leon also modified a rock guard skirt for the back of the MH to protect the new vehicle. Works Greay!! All work was performed well and any questions answered to our satisfaction! I would recommend to anyone who appreciates good work for a fair price on a timely basis.

We had been to several dealerships and found over priced used cars, lied too by aggressive sales personal, and over all used vehicle in bad shape. This dealership had great prices, no hassle over trade-in with a fair price. I will recommend every one I know to use this dealership. Great experience .... something we did not receive after shopping at several other dealerships in our area. Eldon dealership was such a stressful experience by a terrible sales person I just wanted to forget getting another vehicle. Great sales people ... the cleanest used vehicles you will ever find ... GREAT experience ....
